Meet Matthew
My name is Matthew Kim, and I'm a '25 from Austin, TX studying Computer Science and Chinese and I have been a DSG senator since freshman year. Besides Student Government I am also the co-chair of Bait and Bullet in the DOC, and I love to go fishing.
I am proud to say I have worked with VP Kiara Ortiz to have free laundry on campus and worked with past President David Millman to bring back Late Night Dining! Currently, I am the co-chair of the Student Government Student Life Committee where we are advocating for better dining options for everyone. I really care about every student at Dartmouth, and I believe that I have the skills and experience to lead Student Government next year.
Meet Ale
My name is Alejandra Carrasco, and I am running for Student Body Vice President! I am a Dartmouth Student from Lima, Peru and am studying Sociology mod. Latin American and Caribbean Studies and Education.
On campus, I am involved with the Magnuson Student Leadership Board, DartUP (Social Entrepreneurship club), Chess Club, Global Issues Scholars, Team director of Dartmouth Women Investment Fund, Vice president of The Women's Network at Dartmouth and Senator at the Student Assembly at Dartmouth. I am also part of the FYSEP community and King Scholars. From my earliest days as a freshman, I eagerly engaged with student government initiatives, recognizing its potential to effect meaningful change on campus. One of the projects that stands out to me is my involvement in the response to the standardized testing policy.
